I am natural light photographer working in the Portland Metro Area.  I prefer to meet up in a park (I have several favorite parks around town!) and shoot semi- staged shots.  The more natural the better!

What to expect at your session

Please show up on time, I will most likely be at the location ahead of time to scout out the perfect light and backdrops.  Allow time for traffic because even on the weekends traffic in town can be a challenge!  Before we begin please have the sitting fee and print package minimum ready.  Cash or check made out to Anna Graf.  From there I will let you know my plan for the shoot.  With 90mins as a timeline I want to ensure we get all the shots and combinations that you are looking for.

During the session

I may pose you for a bit to get warmed up to the camera but as the shoot progresses we should be working together, letting ideas flow, and shooting all we can in the time we have together.  They say the only shot you regret is the one you didn’t take so why not try something!

If we are working with little ones please help me out by standing behind me making funny faces, laughing, and keeping their focus on the fun!  If you are in the shot with little ones, let me handle their squirms so you can focus on looking your best.  I shoot in continuous mode with kids to ensure lots of options.  They will squirm and move and make faces…these are some of my fav shots!  I want our session to be fun for the whole family!

After the session

Within a week after you session I will create a password protected online gallery.  Over the next two weeks I will add your fully edited images from our session, emailing you to let you know when more are added.  My goal for a regular 90 minute session is 30-40 images.  Once all the images I’ve selected are uploaded I will send you an order form to choose your prints!  All prints are professionally printed on Kodak paper.  There are multiple finishes available so please ask if you would like to see samples of glossy, matte, lustre or metallic.
